Covid 19 is a pandemic that attacks almost all countries on this earth. It can be said that there is not a single country in the world that is completely free from the covid 19 attacks. This has resulted in an economic recession that has hit many countries, both developing and developed countries. No exception, Indonesia's beloved country. All sectors of life from religious activities, economic activities, education, tourism, and so on are affected. One of the sectors affected by the economy is the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. In fact, this sector contributes nearly 57 percent of national GDP. So the purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on the economic slowdown in the MSME sector in the city of Kapuas. The method of analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that MSME actors in Kapuas experienced a decline in sales turnover due to the PSBB policy which resulted in the economy running very slowly. However, the Kapuas Regency Government is able to read this situation so that there are many policies that can help the community, including freeing PDAM water, BLT, and so on.
